The workers had reported strange things and accidents, but no one really believed them mainly the owner. It wasn't until 1940, when the school was almost done being remodeled, that the actually owner, John Johnson, came to view it. As he did a complete walk through of the school, he could hear moans and groans, voices from around every corner. Johnson automatically thought it was just the workers playing a joke, boy was he ever wrong. All the workers had left for the evening, the only person that was around, beside Johnson himself, was his wife, Lillian. "Lillian, Lillian? Is that you?" Mr. Johnson was calling out through the darkness of the school. Peaking around corners, in search of his wife or at least the source of the voices. But his wife was in the car, right were he had left her. As she continued to walk, he got himself lost. Not knowing what part of the school he was in, he just continued to walk. Figuring that if he just kept going he would eventually get out, boy was he ever wrong. Little did he know, he was never going to get out. After about 3 hours, Lillian called the police, worried that something had happened to her husband. They searched the whole school, but there was no sign of him. The did a missing person's case, but there was no tips, nothing on finding him. As the years went on, Lillian suffered from loneliness. In 1953, Lillian pasted away, alone and forgotten. The school was left as it was, no body going in or out of it. It was never opened or finished. In the will, John and Lillian had left the school to the city.
Finally, in 1989, the city of Cairo decided to demolish the school. At the time they were going to do it, a guy from Russia spoke out. Instead of demolishing it, he wanted to buy it. After a talk with the council, they decided on a deal. All the Russia guy had to do, was pick up right were John Johnson had left off. So he did. Years of hard work and building, Stanley Igor finally opened the school in 1993. Naming it after the country it was in and the type of school it was, he came up with Egyptian School of Talent. Stanley wanted the school opened to those talented people all over the world. He was going to open the school for people from as young as sixteen years of age and as old as twenty three.
